POSH & Gender Sensitization Workshops

Govt. of India enacted “The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act” in Dec 2013 on the lines of Vishakha guidelines issued by Supreme Court in 2010.

The objectives of the Act are:

  1. to provide protection against sexual harassment of women at workplace,
  2. prevention of sexual harassment, and
  3. redressal of complaints of sexual harassment.

Our POSH practitioners have rich industry experience including hands on experience of handling sexual harassment issues. Our seasoned POSH practitioners and counselors conduct workshops to familiarize the participants with salient features of the Act, social and psychological aspects related to gender issues, and implications of certain behaviours at workplace. Our women consultants and counselors are External Members on the ICC of some leading companies including MNCs.

I am happy to state that we engaged Ms. Indu Wadhwa to conduct a POSH awareness session for our employees at New Delhi. Our objective of organizing the program were fully met.
